At Mastercard, Kaushik is responsible for leading Business & Market Insights.  He leads a global team focused on developing services and platforms that help our customers use data and insights to make better decisions. He also leads Mastercard’s global consulting business.

In his preceding 14 years with Mastercard, Kaushik has held various senior roles, leading teams in both global and regional capacities. In his most recent role Kaushik managed Mastercard’s agnostic global gateway assets to provide customers with technology solutions that seamlessly enable acceptance of all payment types and connectivity to a wide range of value-added services. Immediately prior to this he oversaw Mastercard’s global network and switching business as well as running sales, revenue optimization, and distribution within Mastercard’s Cyber and Intelligence (C&I) group for five years.  

Prior to joining Mastercard, Kaushik spent five years at First Data in the Middle East, where he managed the company's relationships with banks and governments across the Middle East and North Africa. Kaushik also worked with GE Money and Morgan Stanley Consumer Banking on projects across various locations in Europe.

With over 20 years’ experience in the payments industry, Kaushik has a wealth of experience in the field of payment processing and is an open-loop and interoperability evangelist. His payments expertise is diverse, with a background including platform architecture, product and P&L management in addition to sales and country management.

Kaushik holds two Masters’ Degrees in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and a Master of Business Administration from the Indian school of Business in Hyderabad, India.
