Mastercard Data & Services' Growth and Optimization Services Team will provide 5-6 weeks of project management and consulting services in support of the growth of Client's card program governed by Client’s strategic agreement with Mastercard. This support will include the following phases and will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Activities: The Mastercard Success Planning team will provide project management and consulting support to Client in connection with its implementation and launch of a Mastercard Co-branded Card program during the course of this engagement. Activities in connection therewith will be in phases as follows:

Phase 1: Data Gathering (3-4 weeks depending on stakeholder availability)

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews with teams across the payments value chain including: product management, acquisition, credit risk, usage & engagement, auth, fraud, risk, servicing, and analytics taking into considering consumer or business focused, credit or debit.

  • Conduct transaction benchmarking, subject to Applicable Standards, against competitive set that contains fintechs and national players as well segmentation to understand Client’s best and worst performing cardholders (consumers or businesses).

  • Synthesize findings across qualitative and quantitative inputs to identify comprehensive list of strategic opportunities.

The Mastercard Growth and Optimization Services team will use the foregoing steps to develop an understanding of the current state of Client’s capabilities and card program performance in order to create a baseline for opportunity identification.

Phase 2: Facilitate Virtual Workshop (Half Day)

  • Facilitate a workshop with Mastercard experts and broad set of Client’s stakeholders to brainstorm solutions.

  • In preparation for the workshop, Mastercard will present its current state findings and work with Client to agree on three (3) strategic areas for exploratory analysis and ideation. Mastercard will then facilitate a half-day virtual working session with various Mastercard experts across the three strategic areas and a broad set of Client stakeholders to review findings, identify root causes, brainstorm potential solutions, and identify potential next steps.

Phase 3: Prioritization and Next Steps (2 weeks)

The Mastercard Growth and Optimization Services Team will:

  • Synthesize discussion and findings from the workshop to develop recommendations across multiple opportunities.

  • Prioritize opportunities by effort and impact based on the current capabilities of the Client.

  • Identify detailed next steps for the top two identified opportunities. For the avoidance of doubt, implementation of such potential next steps themselves are not included in the Services hereunder.

2. Deliverables:

  • Virtual workshop
  • Prioritized opportunities and key next steps for top two identified opportunities as set forth above.

3. Fees: The fees for this engagement will be $75,000 which shall be offset by the Growth and Optimization Services in client’s agreement with Mastercard governing the applicable Mastercard Co-branded Card program.

4. Estimated Timeline: 5-6 weeks as mutually agreed by Client and Mastercard.
