We invite you to participate in a second email blast for Mastercard cardholders that received the Card on File/Bill Pay campaign deployed the week of September 18, 2023. This campaign focused on driving cardholder engagement and spend by promoting the benefits of paying bills by putting a card on file. This email will have a similar focus as the initial email with a holiday twist to it. This is a great way to boost cardholder eCommerce transactions, increase bills paid through your institution, and drive top of wallet behavior.

52% of bill payers identify security as highly important to their digital bill payment experience, with 20% naming it the most important factor. This campaign will reinforce the ease and security in using their Mastercard to pay their bills online.

We offer two options for email deployment:

  1. Mastercard deployed campaigns (pre-selected for September campaign): 

    • We will be reusing the data file from the September launch. The kick-off email will contain information about those who have unsubscribed. This data was initially provided during the September campaign

    • Mastercard will reuse the approved email creative from the September launch and will make any holiday copy adjustments on your behalf. There will be no need for Mastercard to resend a creative for your approval.

  2. Issuer deployed campaigns (pre-selected for September campaign): 

    • It is recommended that the Financial Institution (FI) reuses the data file from the initial deployment and remove anyone who has unsubscribed prior to the launch of the email.

    • Any necessary creative revisions provided from Mastercard will need to be made by the FI prior to deployment.

    • Provide a tracking file of the 16-digit card numbers or UIDs that were included in the email post deployment.
