The global health crisis forced consumers to digital channels for many daily needs, from buying cleaning supplies and groceries to finding new hobbies and classes. This shift to digital also included banking needs – consumers had to transition from branch banking to mobile banking. The trend has pushed banks to reimagine their digital products as consumer preferences evolve and competition increases.

Many Asian banks that have already embarked on digital transformations have been able to respond to the consumer demand for innovation in banking products and services and increase revenue and reduce costs.
