SpendingPulse™ for public sector

Fuel data insight-driven decisions across all public sector initiatives

Public sector officials must understand how policy changes, natural disasters and other macroeconomic events impact their constituencies. SpendingPulse™ insights offer market intelligence that answers key strategic questions and helps officials provide more informed responses based on unique scenarios.

Public sector Case study SpendingPulse™ was used to assess the effect of the 2020 west coast wildfires

During the West Coast wildfires in September 2020, SpendingPulse™ assessed the economic impact of the wildfires on the region. SpendingPulse™ insights showed that Oregon saw year-over-year total retail sales shift from +10% growth to -9% at the peak of the fires. Oregon retail sales returned to positive growth after nine days, whereas Washington saw less sales impact and returned to positive growth within three days.
